I’m proud to announce that today, Riak has delivered an overhaul to our existing documents. We streamlined the navigation, look and feel, and content. We also made some changes that will allow us to easily document future versions of Riak, without crushing legacy documents.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock during these past few months, you know that for the past several months the Riak Team has been planning a two-day conference dedicated to both Riak and distributed systems. We’ve christened this conference RICON and it’s happening this Wednesday in San Francisco.

To say we’ve come a long way from that first release would be an understatement, and today we’re pleased to announce the release and general availability of Riak 1.2.
