Call for papers now open for distributed systems conference taking place in Las Vegas, October 2014
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Riak Technologies, the creator and developer of Riak, the industry leading distributed NoSQL Database, today announced RICON 2014, taking place October 27-29 at the Palms in Las Vegas. Previously hosted in separate events, this year’s conference will bring together a larger audience of developers, industry leaders, partners, customers and community members to discuss a wider variety of experiences across the distributed systems and network ecosystem.

RICON will feature a training day, as well as two days of keynote presentations, in-depth sessions, technical tracks, panel discussions, cocktail events and more. The call for papers is now open and interested speakers are welcome to submit abstracts detailing experiences applying distributed systems and networks, data center innovations, deployment strategies, and real world experiences.
